DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES : We are seeking skilled and experienced coders, developers, and testers to join our team for the client System Modernization Project. The ideal candidate should have a strong background creating custom solutions in Salesforce and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks. As a developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing standard Salesforce capabilities of our system by leveraging your expertise to create solutions that streamline processes and improve user experience. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape the future of our organization's systems.

Responsibilities may include:

1.     Salesforce Custom Development: Apply Salesforce experience to create custom Apex and Flow-based Salesforce solutions. Create and leverage external interfaces such as Mulesoft and various AWS components.

2.     JavaScript Development: Utilize in-depth understanding of JavaScript frameworks (especially LWC) to develop functionality for the System Modernization Project. Collaborate closely within the development team to implement robust and efficient solutions.

3.     Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive unit test cases to ensure adequate code coverage of the functionality, performance, and system security. Collaborate with the testing team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in a timely manner.

4.     Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of the codebase, system architecture, and development processes. Provide regular reports on the progress, challenges, and outcomes of the development and testing activities.

5.     Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration and communication within the project team, including developers, testers, and stakeholders. Actively participate in meetings, discussions, and code reviews to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.

4              Required             Proven experience as a Coder and Tester with a focus on JavaScript development.

4              Required             Strong knowledge of native JavaScript, features, and best practices.

4              Required             Experience and/or exposure with Salesforce integration and customization including Flow, LWC, SOQL, and a solid understanding of Salesforce Administration (i.e., governor limits, security, etc.).

4              Required             Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Experience working with agile sprint teams and in agile development life cycles a must.

4              Required             Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

4              Required             Experience with testing frameworks and tools for JavaScript, such as Jest or Mocha.

4              Required             Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

4              Required             Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

4              Required             Effective communication and collaboration skills working within a team environment.

4              Preferred            Bachelor’s degree, certifications, or experience related to coding, testing, or software development preferred.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES : Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

This position will perform Development activities for a new Salesforce application for the Access and Eligibility Services (AES) Office of Administration (OOA) Workflow & Portal Tool team. The new application is part of an initiative to track and monitor over 3000 contracts and their budget. This role will be responsible for participating in the completion of deliverables according to the definition of done for this Agile team. These positions will require hands-on experience programming applications in Salesforce. The development team follows Agile (Scrum), and these roles should have experience with Agile methodologies. The daily operations of these positions will include documentation of the solutions, analysis, problem resolution, design, development, communication with other team members and participation in solution delivery, and other responsibilities required for the unit operations. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Available for on-call support as needed.
